Admission for BMSCE starts in January with the beginning of registration for MCA and MBA courses. February marks the beginning of the offline application method for undergraduate courses and a printout of the application has to be filled in and submitted before the closing date.
Admission to MCA and MBA programs in BMS college are based on KMAT scores, for UG programs admission is based on COMEDK scores and for M.Arch and M.Tech is based on PGCET/GATE scores.

The BMS college of engineering Bangalore provides a B.Arch. the degree that has a span of 5 years and a B.E./B.Tech degree which spans 4 years. The basic eligibility criteria for B.Tech or B.E courses is a passed 10+2 examination or any equivalent exam with mathematics and physics compulsory and other optional science subjects with no less than 50% marks. A 10+3 diploma or a 10+2 including mathematics is the basic eligibility for B.Arch courses in BMS college of engineering Bangalore.

Admission is based on COMEDK scores. This exam has 180 MCQs carrying one mark each, there is no negative marking, the sections will be based on mathematics, physics and chemistry, and you’ll get three hours to solve a paper with sixty questions in each section.
The college provides a Masters in Architecture (M.Arch), Business Administration (MBA), Technology (M.Tech) and in Computer Applications (MCA).
MCA, M.Tech, and MBA are a two-year program while for M.Arch it is a three-year program.

The KMAT exam is required for candidates seeking to pursue MBA or MCA courses. The exam consists of 120 questions broken into 3 sections-Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability and Comprehension reading. You’ll have two hours to complete the part which has 40 questions in each section.
The PGET exam is required for candidates wanting to pursue M.Arch or M.Tech courses. It consists of 75 MCQs, out of which 50 will carry one mark and the rest will carry two marks, you’ll get 2hours and 30 minutes to complete the test.
The BMSCE eligibility criteria for the PhD entrance exam requires a candidate to have a Masters or a similar degree of equal value valid to the subject of research done by the candidate with no less than 55% marks.
